Pencils are attached to the artist’s drawing arm and allowed free play to trace the drawing of another drawing in hand. The drawing is presented unframed on a horizontal surface. A hand-held magnifying glass is placed on the surface of the drawing. 5 sleeves, each with a pencil at the cuff, hang from a single bulldog clip on a nearby wall. Sleeves are clipped to participants’ clothing at the shoulder before they examine the drawing through the magnifying glass. Each participant leaves traces of their looking on the drawing. |
